This 5-day private safari in Northern Tanzania offers an extensive encounter with the region's renowned wildlife and cultural heritage. You’ll begin your journey in Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations and distinctive baobab trees, where game drives provide opportunities to observe elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species. The route then takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands towards Serengeti National Park, where you’ll find one of the largest concentrations of wildlife on the continent, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeests and zebras. You’ll spend a full day in the central Serengeti engaging in morning and afternoon game drives aimed at viewing predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside other plains game species. The itinerary also includes a visit to a traditional Maasai village within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll gain insight into the customs and daily life of the Maasai community. This cultural encounter complements the wildlife focus of the safari, providing a broader understanding of the region’s heritage.The final highlight of the trip is a game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its dense wildlife populations, including the Big Five—black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. After a morning spent in the crater’s diverse ecosystem, you’ll return to Arusha, concluding the safari. Throughout the journey, you’ll travel in a 4x4 vehicle with a professional English-speaking guide, ensuring access to prime viewing locations and expert commentary on the wildlife and cultural sites encountered.
