This 6-day Northern Tanzania Safari offers a comprehensive journey through some of the region's most renowned wildlife destinations, including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll begin by travelling from Arusha to Tarangire, where large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees dominate the landscape. Game drives in Tarangire provide opportunities to observe a variety of species such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species, with picnic lunches arranged within the park. Continuing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll enter Serengeti National Park, where extensive game drives across the plains allow for sightings of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and other wildlife. The itinerary includes full-day game drives in Serengeti, with picnic lunches inside the park, enabling you to maximise wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities. Afterward, the journey returns through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Karatu, offering additional chances to observe the local fauna and landscapes.The safari concludes with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique caldera hosting a dense concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. A picnic lunch on the crater floor precedes the return to Arusha. Throughout the safari, you’ll be accompanied by a professional English-speaking driver-guide in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser, ensuring both comfort and expert guidance during game drives and transfers.
