This six-day private safari offers a comprehensive Northern Tanzania experience, combining wildlife viewing, scenic landscapes, and cultural engagement. You’ll begin your journey in Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal river systems that attract diverse wildlife. From there, you’ll travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to the Serengeti National Park, where extensive plains host a variety of predators and herbivores, providing ample opportunities for game drives. In the Serengeti, you’ll spend a full day undertaking game drives to observe species such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras, depending on the migration season. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the Ngorongoro Crater—a natural caldera renowned for its dense wildlife population, including the Big Five. You’ll descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, enhancing your chances of seeing a concentrated variety of wildlife within a unique ecosystem.The safari concludes with a cultural visit to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll engage with the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. This encounter provides insight into traditional hunting methods, storytelling, and ancient lifestyles closely connected to nature.
